Squalane vs squalene - what is the difference?
Squalene, with an e, is a natural compound that does not hold up well on the shelf. Squalane, with an a, is its stable form, and that is what we sell. Ours is 100% pure and olive-derived.
Is olive squalane the same as olive oil?
No. Squalane is a single, pure ingredient derived from olives. It feels far lighter than olive oil and it is fragrance-free.
Does squalane feel greasy?
No. It is lightweight and fast-absorbing, with no greasy residue.
